Foil Expert – Hot Foil Stamping Platen Conversion
The Foil Expert is simply the most innovative and simple hot foil stamping conversions to fit neatly into original clamshell press designs. We have designed the kit for quick and easy self-installation which offers high quality, efficient foiling with features not available elsewhere on other systems.
Specifically designed for installation onto Heidelberg T – 10×15, GT/GTP – 13 x18, but with a suitable fixing position, should fit Minerva, Kluge, Crosland, Kolbus, Thompson and other platen/clamshell presses.

The platen version is designed for self installation and comes complete with a full installation instruction manual and a comprehensive operators.
Please note the following:
- If you only require a replacement foil pull unit, we can offer a solution without our standard built-in heater controller
- We can provide a solution with a double pull unit as most platen machines will allow a double unit installation
- Optional Holographic Registration System is available for lucrative foiling opportunities
- Standard heater plate in a full conversion will adopt the toggle hook fixing system, which is much faster and easier than the traditional bunter post style.
- If you consider this upgrade for a Heidelberg Tiegel 10×15″ platen, you may wish to consider our Foil Cutter and respooler to use foil rolls on 16mm cores.
It is recommended to purchase a Toggle Hook Accessories pack with your system.

Payment by Bank Transfer
We now offer a payment by Bank Transfer should you prefer. Proceed through the checkout as normal and select Direct Bank Transfer as your payment method. Attached to your order confirmation email you will find a Proforma Invoice for your convenience.
Profoil Credit Account
You can apply for a Profoil credit account if you regularly place orders with us and/or for goods over a £1,000. Please email sales@profoil.com for an application form. Profoil utilises an external credit rating service to help us make a decision on all account approvals.

International Delivery Charges
International charges are calculated at checkout based on your Shipping Country location and the weight/volumetric size of the items in your basket.
International Residential Delivery Charge:
Profoil reserves to right to withold an order and charge an additonal fee for international deliveries to residential addresses. This fee is to cover the £5 GBP charge from our International couriers, both FedEx and DHL to deliver to a residential address. We do and have always tried our very best to be competitive on delivery pricing, but this residential charge is now in addition to a €5 EURO “Brexit EU-UK charge” which all the couriers imposed per consignment from goods moving from the UK into the EU since January 2021.
Together, the residential charge addition means this is almost a £10 GBP fee per delivery to us which we simply cannot absorb any further. We have and are currently continuing to absorb the cost of the single “Brexit EU-UK charge” for customers having deliveries to a Non-residential address.
We will continue to review this position and hope someday soon these additional courier charges Profoil is incurring will be removed.
Handling Charge:
We incorporate a handling charge against each order. Handling is charged at 20% cost of the total shipping cost and is incorporated in the Shipping charge displayed at checkout.
Despatch Schedule:
Orders for delivery within the UK and provided we receive your order by 2.00pm, we will aim to have it packed and shipped the same day*. Orders received after 2.00pm, we will aim to have shipped on the next business day. Orders for delivery outside the UK must be received by 12pm to have it packed and shipped the same day*.
*Excludes orders for dies. See our Die Ordering Guide for more information on delivery, which super-cedes this information.
Lost/Damaged Delivery:
You must inform us within three working days from receipt of goods if your goods are lost, damaged or if there is a discrepancy, so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery handler and/or correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence to us.
Legality:
On completion of an order with Profoil, you agree that proof of delivery, supplied by our delivery courier services is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
FREE Delivery service:
From time to time, we may offer a free delivery service based upon a minimum order value. It may be beneficial to spend more on products to take advantage of free delivery for a greater saving. Be sure to calculate your order. Free delivery does not affect your statutory rights.
